3Q are looking to recruit to our existing Engineering Sales Team:

The Role

The Internal Engineering Sales person is responsible for delivering service to the customer. The person will have responsibility for the efficient and accurate provision of quotations, order management and expediting.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit quotations in line with customer deadlines, using email, telephone or hard copy
  • Review and Maintain all Sales Order Processing information
  • Review and Maintain all Purchase Order Processing information
  • Review and Maintain all Customer, Supplier and Product information
  • Enter information onto the company SAGE Line 50 (V24) system
  • Develop & maintain relationships with site contacts and an understanding of their business and challenges
  • Carry out administrative tasks as requested in line with the company business procedures in order to maintain ISO9001-2015 accreditation
  • Ensure all company deliveries are completed in line with ISO9001-2015 procedures
  • Ensure all opportunities to increase company profit are maximised
  • Attain high level of enthusiasm and response to all customer enquiries
  • Assist in the provision of Out of Hours Call Out Service
  • Support & contribute to all tasks within the business

Required Experience/Skills

  • Working within a customer service, sales, or purchasing role
  • Good understanding of Information Systems and proven ability in the use of M/S Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible working approach
